Additionally students need an ASB card and pay-to-play fee. Students that participated in a fall sport and winter sport, or qualify for free and reduced lunch, will have their sports fee waived. Eight practices are required to participate in games and meets. The spring sports athletic schedules can be found on the athletics page of the high school website. Baseball and Fastpitch games are subject to change of time and location due to the weather at a moment's notice. In the event of a change due to weather, the high school will post an update on the high school website in the Live Feed section, as well as sending a push notification to anyone with a smartphone that has downloaded the Napavine School District app and has agreed to push notifications from the High School. Good luck this spring, Tigers!

High School Basketball Teams in State Tournament

The girls lost to Reardan in their Opening Round game and will play in the Round of 12 as well. Both games will be played on Wednesday, March 5th at the Spokane Arena. The boys will play the Northwest Christian Crusaders at 2pm. The girls will play the Colfax Bulldogs at 7pm. Both games are loser-out, but a win on Wednesday by either team advances to the double-elimination bracket and State Quarterfinals.

MS and HS Band Festival at Centralia College

The MS 7th grade Intermediate band, and the MS 8th grade Advanced band are competing on March 11th.  8th grade band performs at 10:40am and the 7th grade band performs at 1:55pm.  This takes place at Centralia College at Corbet Theater, all performances are open to the public with free admission. The HS Concert Band performs on March 18th at 12:20pm.

A band festival is an event where school bands in the northern lewis county region come together to perform, receive feedback, and compete for the best score.  Each band performs a set of pieces for an audience and a panel of judges.  Professional musicians or music educators evaluate the performance based on criteria like tone quality, rhythm, musical interpretation, and technique. Bands receive scores (such as "Superior," "Excellent," etc.) and written or recorded feedback.  Judges give our bands a "clinic," where bands receive real-time coaching from the expert judge to improve their performance.   Bands receive a plaque and a certificate for outstanding performances.  Band festivals are a great opportunity for musicians to connect with peers from other schools, hear different music styles, and celebrate their hard work with others.

Elementary Parent-Teacher and MS/HS Student-Led Conferences

The week of March 31st-April 4th will be an 11:50am Elementary Release and a noon MS/HS Release for conferences. At the middle school and high school, students are required to schedule student-led conferences with their parents and teachers.
