Napavine Elementary School has shown the power of teamwork and generosity with the successful completion of its annual food drive. This year, the students, staff, and families came together to collect an incredible 1,381 pounds of food for the local Food Bank.

The event, held from December 3rd-10th, saw classrooms lining up food in the hallway, drawing comparisons as to which class had the most donations. The enthusiasm was contagious, as students brought in canned goods, pasta, rice, and other non-perishable items, all while learning valuable lessons about helping those in need. Each donation gave students the opportunity to ring the bell and receive a holiday sticker.

The 1,381 pounds of food surpassed last yearās total of 1,005 pounds by over 300 pounds! The donations will provide much-needed assistance to families in the area, especially as the holiday season approaches.

The food drive is just one of many community service projects Napavine Elementary participates in throughout the year. The school hopes to inspire students to continue giving back and making a positive impact.
